The plot of the film takes place in the not very distant future, where people increasingly spend their time in virtual reality, known as Oasis. Oasis is a huge virtual world created by the brilliant and eccentric developer James Holliday, where everyone can be anything and do anything.

When Hollidame dies, he leaves behind an incredible legacy - a test to find the "Easter egg" hidden in the Oasis. The winner of this challenge will take huge fortune and total control of Oasis. Millions of players from all over the world begin to look for this "Easter egg," including the main character, a guy named Wade Watts, also known as Parzival.

Wade and his friends, known as the High Fives, find themselves in an epic race with a vicious corporate giant seeking to seize control of the Oasis and use it for their own selfish ends. Led by Parzival, the group is forced to overcome the dangers and trials that threaten them in both virtual and real worlds.

With each step, they move closer to discovering the mystery, but they also realize that the whole world is watching them, and that the consequences of winning or losing this game can be colossal.
