Matrix (1999)

In a world where machines control humanity, wearing black glasses and monitoring code programs is a common reality for most people. But for some individuals, such as programmer Thomas Anderson, who lives under the pseudonym Neo, this is just a superficial understanding of life. His mundane routine changes when he meets a mysterious hacker named Morpheus, who reveals to him the true nature of reality.

The world in which Neo and other people live is actually a virtual reality created and controlled by machines. Humanity is enslaved and used as a source of energy for machines. Morpheus convinces Neo that he is the "chosen one," the one who can free humanity from this slavery. Neo agrees to accept the challenge and enters a crazy world of struggle for survival, where reality and virtuality merge into one.

Together with Morpheus and his team of rebels, including the talented warrior Trinity, Neo begins his training and preparation for the fight with machines and their agents - programs that work on the side of machines. In the battle for freedom, Neo must overcome his own personal fears and doubts to understand his true essence and role in this struggle.
