Elysium: Paradise is not on Earth (2013)

The film takes place in 2154, when humanity is divided into two opposite societies: rich and powerful, living on the luxurious cosmic Elysium, and poor and oppressed, forced to live on an overpopulated and destroyed Earth. The main character, Max Day, a former prisoner, now works on Earth and dreams of leaving the terrible reality of the planet and starting a new life on Elysium.

However, fate brings him together with Freya, a longtime childhood friend, and their meeting puts him on the path of resistance and struggle against the system. Freya, who works as a nurse, faces a tragic situation when her daughter gets terminal illness. Desperate, she turns to Max for help, and he promises to give her anything to save her daughter.

To fulfill his promise, Max agrees to take part in a dangerous mission and engages in a showdown with the corrupt Elysium government, represented by heartless businessman John Kruger. In the course of his journey, he discovers that he has a way to save not only the life of Frein's loved ones, but also to change the fate of all people living on Earth.

Max teams up with a resistance group and begins fighting against the system, using his skills and strength to confront injustice and cruelty. In the process, he faces numerous dangers, risking his life and fighting for his ideals.
