Hemingway is a name that stands among the legendary American writers of the 20th century. His writings, characterized by simplicity, clarity and emotional depth, made him one of the most influential authors of his time. Let's dive together into Hemingway's biography, from his childhood to the impact on literature and culture on a global scale.

Ernest Miller was born July 21, 1899 in Oak Park, Illinois, USA. His family was educated and culturally infused, and books and art were always prized in the Hemingway household. Ernest grew up surrounded by literature and music, and this greatly influenced his future work.

In 1917, during World War I, Ernest voluntarily went to the front and took part in hostilities in Italy. His experience of war became the basis for many of his works and left an indescribable mark on his psychology. Ernest was injured during the service, and this also had an impact on his life and work.

After returning from the war, Ernest began working as a journalist and began to actively write fiction. His style was characterized by clarity, minimalism and directness. He produced works that reflected the realities of his time, including the novels "Farewell to Arms" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls."

Ernest Hemingway became part of a literary group known as the "generation of the lost," including authors such as Francis Scott Fitzgerald and John Dos Passos. They would gather in Paris and exchange ideas and inspiration. This period had a significant impact on Hemingway's work, and his novels of the time, such as "The Sun Also Rises" and "The Holiday That Is Always With You," became classics of American literature.

Ernest was a passionate hunter and angler, and his adventure notes and travel stories caught the attention of readers. He spent much time in Africa, Cuba and other parts of the world, and his writings, such as "The Green Hills of Africa" and "The Old Man and the Sea," reflected his passion for nature and travel.
