Operation Argo (2012)

The action takes place in 1979, when Iranian rebels seize the US embassy in Tehran and force sixty-six American citizens hostage. However, six diplomats from among the hostages manage to escape and take refuge in the house of the Canadian ambassador.

In response to the crisis, the CIA is developing a covert operation to rescue hidden diplomats, called "Argo."
