In the world of Living Steel, robot boxing has become a popular entertainment that has supplanted traditional human fights. But when Max accidentally discovers an old boxing robot in an old car service, they begin to rebuild it together and train it to win fights and change their lives.

Thanks to their talent and tenacity, Max and Charlie overcome many obstacles, including rivals, robots and their own personal dramas. They find strength not only to win battles, but also to rebuild their relationships and find meaning in life.
