Battle royale (2000)

In the gloomy future of Japan, the government makes a radical decision: as part of the experiment, it sends a class of schoolchildren to a desert island, where they will have to fight each other to the last survivor. Each student is given weapons, provisions and rules: in 72 hours it is necessary to kill everyone or die.

The main characters, Shuyu Nakagawa and Noriko Nakagawa, find themselves at the center of this nightmare. They are forced to fight for their lives, while facing the fact that one of their former friends and classmates is ready to kill them for their own survival.

During this bloody game, various aspects of human nature are revealed - from sacrifice and compassion to selfishness and a thirst for power. Heroes are forced to make difficult decisions that will determine their fate and inner essence.

As the number of participants dwindles, Shuyu and Noriko join forces to survive this hellish battle. They are trying to preserve their humanity and hope of salvation in a world ruled by fear and violence.
