"No Logo" became the bible of the anti-globalization movement and inspired many activists and community leaders.

Naomi's following pieces also generated much interest and discussion. Her book "The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism" (2007) examines the use of disasters and crises by corporations and governments to implement economic and political reforms. This work continued the theme of corporate influence described in "No Logo" and expanded it globally.
