Mitsuru Adachi - Biography

Adachi was born on February 9, 1951 in Japan. From childhood he developed an interest in drawing and art, and his talent quickly came to light. He began to draw his first manga at school, and his work aroused interest among classmates and teachers.

After graduating from high school, he attended the Tokyo Institute of Art, where he studied art and graphic design. His education was instrumental in shaping his artistic skills and style.

The real success came to Mitsuru after creating the Mikado manga (Touch), which was first published in 1981. This work has become one of the most popular and influential manga in the genre of sports and romance. The manga tells the story of triplets: two twin brothers who are passionate about baseball, and their sister, who plays a key role in their lives.

"Mikado" won the hearts of readers with its warm story, fascinating characters and deep human relationships. This manga became a bestseller and received many awards. It was also successfully adapted into anime and drama.
