Jean Guirodou - Biography
In 1838, at the age of 14, Girodu entered the Paris School of Fine Arts, where he received a quality art education. His talent was pronounced, and he began to study and work together with other talented artists of his time, such as Camille Corot and Theodore Rousseau.At first he worked as a portrait painter, but soon he turned his attention to painting landscapes.
