Irving Stone - Biography

Stone was born on July 14, 1903 in San Francisco, California. His childhood was spent in an atmosphere of literary enrichment, as his father was a famous writer. From a very young age he showed interest in books and the art of the word, and this became the starting point for his future literary career.

After graduating from high school, Irving attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied literature and journalism.
