Horatio Cunningham began his literary career as an author of short stories and essays. His first book, "Golden Days" (1984), was positively received by critics and reviewers. However, real success came to him with the novel "Clock" (1998), which became his most famous and recognized work.

"The Hours" is a multifaceted story that experiments with literary devices and presents events in the lives of three women over different time periods. This novel was awarded the Pulitzer Prize and brought the writer worldwide recognition. In 2002, the book was made into a film of the same name with Oscar nominations.
