Albert Camus - Biography

Camus is a name that is associated with philosophical depth and artistic skill. This outstanding French writer and philosopher left an indelible mark on world literature and philosophy, reflecting on the meaning of human life and the absurdity of being. In this biography, we look at Camus's life path, his contributions to literature and philosophy, and the impact of his works on modern society and culture.

Albert was born on 7 November 1913 in Mondovi, Algeria, then part of the French colony. His parents were intoxicating and irritable, and early childhood was miserable and difficult. However, he was a talented student and developed an interest in literature and philosophy at a young age.

After leaving school, Albert entered the University of Algiers, where he studied philosophy. His education became the basis for his future philosophical and literary works.

The first book that brought Albert recognition was the novel Alien (1942), in which he outlined the concept of absurdity and human meaninglessness. This work became a classic of philosophy and literature of the 20th century and brought him world fame. He substantiated in it his view of life as a meaningless and absurd experience, and tried to unravel the nature of the human essence in the absence of God and moral guidelines.

Other notable works by Albert Camus include The Fall (1956), The Myth of Sisyphus (1942), and The Outsider (1941), each of which continues to develop his philosophical and literary ideas. His work often raised important questions about free will, morality, and human existence.

Albert was not only a writer, but also a philosopher. His work in the field of existentialism and absurdity had a profound impact on the philosophy of the 20th century. He expressed many thoughts about human fate and the nature of man, causing wide interest and discussion in the philosophical community.
