Roman Polanski - Biography

Roman Polanski Early in his career, he studied at the Łódź Film School, one of the more prestigious film schools in Poland. His talent was noticed immediately, and he quickly became a sought-after film director.

Polanski starred in a number of cult films that brought him worldwide fame:

1. "Knife in the Water" (1962): His debut film, which was nominated for an Oscar and immediately brought him recognition as a talented director.

2. Rosemary's Baby (1968): This film has become one of the most famous and influential horror thrillers of all time.

3. "Hinchers" (1974): A dramatic war story filled with characters and plot.

However, Polanski's life and career were marred by tragic events. In 1977, he was accused of committing a sexual offense against an underage girl, after which he fled the United States and spent the remaining decades avoiding extradition to the authorities.

Despite his personal difficulties, Polanski's work remains an important part of the cinematic heritage. His work continues to inspire and excite audiences around the world, and his impact on modern cinema can hardly be overstated.
