After leaving school, Fred entered the New York School of Art (School of Visual Arts), where he studied art and design. However, his passion for comedy and music brought him to the stage, where he began performing in New York City clubs and bars.

Fred's television debut came in the early 2000s when he joined the comedy show "Saturday Night Live." Since then, he has starred in many films and television series, including:

• "Portlandia" (2011-2018): This comedy series co-starred Fred Armisen and was also a co-creator and producer of the show. He created many bright and unique characters that won the hearts of the audience.
