After graduating from high school, Diego attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he studied acting and theater. During his studies, he actively participated in theatrical productions and experimented with different genres and styles of acting.

His cinematic debut came in 2015 when he had a small role in "You" (You). However, he began to enjoy real fame after his participation in the television series "Charm" (2018-2020), where he played the main role of Miguel Diaz. This series brought him widespread popularity and critical acclaim for his emotional and genuine performance.
