Clive Davis - Biography

Clive Davis His career in the music industry began in the 1960s when he became involved with Columbia Records. He was soon promoted to label president and began drawing attention to his unique approach to artist development. In 1974, he founded his own company, Arista Records, which became one of the leading labels in the industry due to his strategic vision and talent in discovering talented artists.

Some of the artists open and advanced under Clive Davis include Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Bruce Springsteen, Janis Joplin and many more.

In addition to his successful career in the music industry, Clive Davis also actively participated in the creation and promotion of films. He has produced several films including "Manhattan," "Cabaret," and "Ordinary People."

His contributions to the music industry have been recognized multiple times, and he has received numerous awards and nominations, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Music Composers Hall of Fame. Clive Davis continues to be active in the industry and promote new talent, remaining one of the most influential people in the entertainment world.
