Barry Pepper After leaving school, Barry entered the University of Southern California, where he studied theater and acting. At the university, he received not only a professional education, but also the first opportunities for filming in student films.

Barry took his first steps on the big screen in the early 90s, when he starred in small roles in television series and independent films. However, his real breakthrough occurred in the mid-90s, when he played roles in such films as:

• "Saving Private Ryan" (1998): In this epic war drama, he appeared as Sergeant Horvath, one of the soldiers involved in finding Private Ryan. His expressive performance attracted the attention of viewers and critics.

• "The Green Mile" (1999): In this dramatic film, he played the role of Harry Terwein, the warden of the prison, causing complex emotions in the audience with his multi-layered character.

• "Turtle" (2001): In this thriller, he appeared in the form of Roland, one of the members of the gang of hired killers. His convincing performance was important in influencing the film's atmosphere.
