Soloist (2009)
The story begins when journalist Stephen Lopez (Robert Downey Jr.), who is facing a creative crisis, accidentally discovers incredible musical talent in a homeless violinist named Nathaniel Ayers (Jamie Foxx). Nathaniel, known as "The Soloist," plays an old violin instrument under a bridge in Los Angeles.Upon learning of Soloist's talent, Stephen begins to explore his past and discovers that Nathaniel was once a student at a prestigious music academy, but lost his future to severe depression and schizophrenia.
