Moonlight (2016)

The film follows the life of Shiron, a black man, at different stages of his life - childhood, adolescence and maturity. Shiron grows up in the slums of Miami, where he faces problems of racism, poverty and a lack of understanding of his sexual orientation.

As a child, Shiron (then called "Little") is faced with peer bullying and misunderstanding of others, and also tries to settle a difficult relationship with a drug addict mother.
