Letters to Juliet (2010)

Sophie, a young American, arrives in Verona with her fiancé on a romantic trip. However, she feels that something is slipping away from her life, and begins to look for meaning in her existence. While walking the streets of Verona, she accidentally finds a letter written decades ago addressed to Juliet from Shakespeare's famous story.

Sophie decides to answer this letter, and now her life turns upside down. She meets a group of women calling themselves "Juliettes," who respond to letters sent to Juliette's address. Together, they decide to help Claire, the woman who wrote the original letter, and find her lost love.

The search leads them to Lorenzo, a former World War II soldier who was Claire's lover in the past. Sophie, immersed in the romantic atmosphere of Verona and inspired by the story of Claire and Lorenzo, begins an exciting adventure in the wake of lost love, revealing the secrets and destinies of people who lived in this city many years ago.
