Fencings (2016)

The plot of the film takes place in the 1950s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and tells the story of the Maxon family - black residents of the area who face racial prejudice, social problems and personal conflicts.

The protagonist, Troy Maxson, a former baseball player, now works as a plumber and fights for a better future for himself and his family. He faces challenges and disappointments, both in his professional and personal life, and tries to find his place in a world that is often unkind to black people.

Through dialogue and conflict with family, friends and colleagues, Troy seeks to overcome obstacles and achieve his place under the sun. He and his family are trying to preserve their honor, dignity and hope in a world where racial inequalities and social constraints are an everyday reality.

"Fences" also looks at the complex relationships between parents and children, men and women, and between blacks and whites. It offers viewers an in-depth look at the history and culture of African Americans in the United States and draws attention to their struggle for equality and justice.

Topics:

- Racial identity: How African Americans define themselves in American society and fight racial prejudice and discrimination.

- Family relationships: How black families are coping with the challenges and difficulties facing them and supporting each other in the fight for a better life.

- History and culture: How African American history and culture shape the identity and experience of black people in America.

Director:

The director creates an intimate and atmospheric picture, using warm tones, deep storylines and excellent acting performances to emphasize the complexity and beauty of the African American experience.

Conclusion:

"Fences" is an emotionally charged film that is a profound and moving exploration of racial, family, and social themes in American society. The film leaves the viewer with many questions and reflections on the meaning of justice, tolerance and human dignity.
