In prison, he finds protection and support from a black prisoner whom he previously despised. Under his influence and through personal experiences, Derek realizes the madness of his rassism and decides to change his life.
After being released, Derek seeks to prevent his brother Danny from following his path. He tries to dissuade him from participating in a skinhead group and spreading hatred. But his attempts are threatened when Danny becomes embroiled in conflict with local black gangs.
