Reflecting death
Marina, leaning her hand on the tile wall in the bathroom, looked in the mirror. She was never a person who cared about appearance. Today, however, something has changed. In front of her stood a girl who suddenly realized that she was not at all beautiful. This thought struck Marina. Her whole life path was permeated with her mother's conviction: keeping track of your appearance is bad. But today, for the first time, she thought about what she looks like, and how it affects the opinion of others, especially the opinion of a particular boy.
Marina was always sure that she was right, but this moment made her doubt it. She began to carefully study her reflection in the mirror. Her features were sharp and pointed, and her figure was thin, with bulging collarbones and long, bony arms. Suddenly, she realized that her appearance was not at all like her parents, but in some ways resembled their ancestors.
She suddenly smiled, remembering Lesha - a guy from her entourage, who did not cease to show interest in her, despite her appearance. It gave her the confidence that maybe looks weren't as important as she thought.
But doubts still remained. Marina thought about her place in the world and how to accept herself as she is.
Suddenly, Marina remembered how her mother always insisted that success in life does not depend on appearance, but on intelligence and education. It reminded her of her older brother, who was smart and successful despite his appearance not attracting attention.
However, even remembering all this, Marina felt insecure. She was caught off guard by her own reflection, which seemed unattractive and strange to her. She thought about how others might think of her the way she thinks of herself now.
But at that moment her thoughts were interrupted by the doorbell. Marina wiped her face and quickly left the bathroom. It was her brother who became interested in why she began to devote less time to lessons and more often disappears alone with herself. He wanted to find out what was happening to her and help if possible.
Marina looked at him gratefully and smiled. His care and attention was like a ray of light in a dark corridor for her. She felt a little lighter knowing she had the support of a loved one.
Gradually, she realized that the most important thing is not the appearance, but who she is inside. Her intelligence, her character, her kindness, that's what really matters. And if she can accept and love herself for who she is, then others will do the same.
Marina promised herself that she would no longer judge herself by her reflection in the mirror, but by her actions, her achievements and her qualities. And, with a smile on her face, she set off to embrace the new day with an open heart and self-confidence.
Over time, Marina became increasingly aware that inner beauty and strength of character are much more important than appearance. She began to devote more time to her hobbies and interests, developing as a person and trying to be the best version of herself.
Summer brought with it new opportunities and adventures. Marina met with Lesha more and more often, and each of their meetings brought her joy and confidence. She realized that their relationship was not based on appearance, but on mutual understanding and mutual support.
Despite this, some moments still brought Marina doubts and uncertainty. But now she knew that it was important to be true to yourself and follow your beliefs, despite the opinions of others.
Once, when they were walking with Lesha in a city park, he took her hand and looked into her eyes with a sincere smile. "You're beautiful, Marina," he said. These words became a real confirmation for her that the most important thing is to be loved and accepted as you are.
Every day Marina was more and more aware of her value and uniqueness. She found the strength to overcome doubts and fight for her dreams. Her reflection in the mirror has long ceased to define her self-esteem and self-esteem.
So Marina found her way to self-acceptance and happiness, realizing that true beauty is more than just an appearance. This is the inner light that radiates from the inside and makes a person truly beautiful.
With each new day, Marina became more confident in herself and her abilities. She not only accepted her appearance, but also began to be proud of her unique appearance, seeing in it something special and beautiful.
Her relationship with Lesha became stronger and deeper, based on mutual respect and love. He saw her as not only an external beauty, but also an inner strength and mind that inspired him.
One day, at sunset, they stood together on the seashore, listening to the sound of the surf and watching the sunset. Marina felt all her doubts and insecurities dissolve in the air under the gentle rays of the sun.
"You know, Marina," said Lesha, hugging her shoulders, "you are the most beautiful person I have ever met. You are smart, strong and incredibly beautiful inside and out. I love you".
Lesha's words filled Marina's heart with warmth and happiness. She realized that true beauty is something unfathomable that manifests itself in her smile, in her eyes, in her kindness and compassion for those around her.
So Marina found her happiness and harmony, accepting herself as she is, and loving herself in all her manifestations. She realized that her uniqueness is her strength, and she is ready to go through life with an open heart and self-confidence.
