Delving into many cultural contexts, this project explores the variety of genre features that characterize the title novels. From classic stories to contemporary works, authors from around the world use the novella as a means to uncover unique aspects of their culture, society and human experience. We will conduct a comparative analysis of short stories from different countries, identifying the common features and unique features of each culture. From Japanese Kuklacz novellas to Latin American magic realism and North American realism, we explore how different cultural and literary traditions shape the structure, subject matter and style of the title novellas.
