Vladimir Mayakovsky - Biography

Vladimir Vladimirovich was born on July 19, 1893 in the city of Bagdati, which now bears the name Gruzino. He grew up in a family of workers and knew from childhood that he wanted to devote his life to art. His education began at Tbilisi Gymnasium, where he showed a talent for literature and drawing.

Young began publishing his poems in newspapers and magazines, attracting attention with his unusual metaphors and rhythm.
