Tim Pratchett's first novel, "Dwarf Fight" (1983), was successfully received by readers and critics. However, his real success came with the beginning of a series of books about the Disc - a world where the action takes place in an alternative reality filled with magic and absurdities. The first book in the series, "The Color of Magic" (1983), became an instant bestseller and established Tim Pratchett as a prominent fantasy author.

The series of books about Disk, also known as "Discmir" or "Disk World," has become a real phenomenon and deservedly popular. In this world populated by magic, witches, sorcerers and unhappy heroes, Tim Pratchett combined fantasy elements with sharp humor and satire. The heroes of his works, such as Rincewind and Plodolyub, became cult figures in fantasy literature.

However, Tim was not limited to just the Disc series. He has written numerous other books and short stories, covering genres ranging from science fiction to historical literature. His work has always been distinguished by the sharpness of the mind and the ability to analyze modern society through the prism of fantastic worlds.
