Stanley Kubrick - Biography
Kubrick was born on July 26, 1928, in New York City to Jewish immigrants from Poland. His early years were marked by a passion for photography, and this hobby was the first step towards his future cinematic career.At 17, he bought his first camera and began making short films that featured an unusual visual style and exploration of human psychology. His early experiments already implied talent and passion for cinema.
At the beginning of his career, he shot documentaries and advertisements. His work caught the attention of critics, and he became famous thanks to the documentary short film "Day in the Night Shift" (1953), which told about the life of workers in a printing workshop.
However, Kubrick's real breakthrough came with the release of the drama "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" (1956). This film, based on the novel by Lyon Fellig, showed the dark and tough side of human nature and was the first step in his career in Hollywood.

Stanley was always interested in the inner world of man and human psychology. The Shining (1980), based on Stephen King's novel, explores the theme of isolation and madness in the bleak setting of the Overlook Hotel. The film has become a classic of the horror genre and still causes horror and admiration among the audience.
