Pepsi is a name that remains eternal in the history of literature and diaries. This 17th-century English writer, civil servant and public figure left an indelible mark on history thanks to his unique diary. In this biography, we look at Pepsi's life and achievements, his impact on literature and the legacy he left for future generations.

Samuel was born on February 23, 1633 in London, in the family of a telegraph operator. His parents were well-off but not rich, and Samuel was their speck. He received a good education, starting his grammar school studies at Grammar School in Grammaton and then going to Cambridge University.

Returning to London after his studies, he began his career in maritime administration. He soon became assistant general secretary of the Admiralty, and later took up the post himself. This is the beginning of his successful career in public service.

One of the best known aspects of Samuel's life is his diary, which he kept from 1660 to 1669. This diary became a valuable source of information about life in London during the Stuart era, as well as about events that took place during the bubonic plague, the Great Fire of London and the restoration of the monarchy after Interregnum.

In Pepsi's diary, he candidly described his feelings, thoughts and observations, creating an unmatched portrait of his time. This document is an important historical document and at the same time a work of literary art. He describes not only historical events, but also everyday life, sea adventures, and even his love affairs.

Samuel is considered one of the founders of the genre of autobiographical literature and the diary genre. His diary became a model for many writers and researchers, inspired by his sincerity and openness. He was also influential in the development of the English language and literature of his time.
