Paul Robin was born on February 28, 1953 in Albany, New York, USA. His family was educated and actively supported his interest in science. After leaving school, he entered Yala University, where he studied economics and received a bachelor's degree. He later continued his education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he received a doctorate in economics.

Paul began his academic career teaching at Harvard University and quickly established himself as a talented researcher and scholar. His research in international trade, macroeconomics and international finance became the basis for many of his future works and books.

One of Paul's most famous works is his theory on the principle of comparative advantage in international trade. This theory explains why various countries specialize in the production of certain goods and how this contributes to world trade.
