Naoko Takeuchi - Biography
Takeuchi was born on March 15, 1967 in Kurashiki, Hayama, Japan. Since childhood, she showed interest in art and manga, starting to draw her own comics back in her school years. Her passion for drawing and desire to tell fascinating stories became key factors in her future career.After graduating from high school, Naoko attended Keio University, where she studied chemistry. However, her passion for art soon led her to decide to focus on manga and illustration. She began publishing her work in various manga magazines and gradually built her career.
Naoko became the most famous thanks to the creation of the Sailor Moon manga, which was first published in 1991. This project was her real breakthrough and immediately gained immense popularity both in Japan and abroad.
