Mikhail Yuryevich (1814-1841) is a name that is associated with great poetry and prose in 19th-century Russian literature. His work reflects a turbulent time and complex mental experiences. Mikhail was born on October 15, 1814 in Moscow, in a noble noble family. Lermontov received an excellent education and entered Moscow University. His interest in literature and poetry began to appear in the early stages of his studies. He wrote poems that reflected his feelings and reflections.

After graduating from university, Lermontov chose a military career and joined the army. His service was filled with various events, including duels and conflicts with higher superiors. These conflicts and duels later affected his fate and his works.
