John Keats - Biography

John was born on 31 October 1795 in Devon, England. His family was not distinguished by wealth, and John grew up in simple conditions. As a child, he began to show interest in nature and poetry. In 1811, after leaving school, he went on a trip to Scotland and the Isle of Mull, where he was inspired by wildlife and picturesque landscapes.

After returning from traveling, he moved to London, where he began his poetic career. His first poems were published in literary magazines, and he quickly attracted attention for his talents. In 1816, he published his first collection of poems, entitled Poems, which included such famous works as Ode to a Hawk and Ode to Night.

One of the key elements of John Keats' work was his connection with nature. The work provoked mixed reactions, but over time it became recognized as one of the greatest achievements of romanticism.
