John Galbraith - Biography

Galbraith grew up in a small town in Illinois in a farming family. His early years were filled with labor on the farm, but his desire for knowledge and education was evident from the start. He received bachelor's and master's degrees from Harvard University, and then a doctorate from the University of Oxford.

Early in his career, John worked as a research assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research and taught at Princeton University.
