Sam Harris became known as a philosopher who explores issues of consciousness, ethics and religion. His book "The End of Faith: Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason," published in 2004, caused a great resonance and became a bestseller. In this book, he expressed doubts about religious doctrines and made arguments for secularism and a rational worldview.
