Guy Ritchie - Biography

Ritchie was born on 10 September 1968 in Hutton, London, and his early years were far removed from the world of film. His father worked in the construction industry and his mother was a teacher. However, already in his early youth, Richie began to be interested in the art and world of cinematography.

First Steps: Short Films and Meet Gaijin Richie

Guy began his film career by creating short films and music videos. His talent was noticed and he was introduced to British director Peter Richardson, known as Gaijin Ritchie. This meeting was a key moment in his career, and Gaijin became his mentor and most inspiring figure.

Guy's first feature film was "Foundling" (1998), which immediately delighted critics and viewers. The film, which tells the story of the world of British crime and cartels, became a cult and established as a talented and influential director.

His next works were "Big Kush" (2000) and "Cards, Money, Two Trunks" (1998). Both films continued to explore the world of crime and raised questions about honor and respect in this bleak world. They also brought Richie fame as a master of crime comedy.
