George Gordon Byron - Biography

George Gordon was born on January 22, 1788 in London, into an English aristocratic family. His childhood was unusual and tragic: he lost his father at an early age, and his mother had to struggle with financial problems. George's upbringing was controversial and he grew up as someone with complexes.

However, education and literature have always been an important part of his life. He studied at Garrow and then entered the University of Cambridge, where he began to write poetry and study ancient literature.

One of the key features of Byron's life was his love of adventure and travel. After completing university, he went on large trips to the Mediterranean, including Greece and Turkey. These travels became an important source of inspiration for his future work.

Byron's life was saturated with scandals and counterversions, and one of the most famous events was his stormy love life. He was known for his romances and scams, including relationships with Lady Caroline Lumb and Millia Chalmers. In 1815 he married Annabella Milbank, but their marriage quickly fell apart and they divorced.

George Gordon was known for his poetic work, including poems and poems. One of his most famous works was the poem "Eternal Rome" (Childe Harold's Pilgrimage), published in 1812. This poem describes the journey of the protagonist through various countries and continents and is part of autobiographical reflection.
