Federico Garcia was born on June 5, 1898 in Fuente Vacena, a small town in Andalusia, Spain. His family was educated and cultural, which had a strong influence on the young Federico. He studied in Madrid and later in Granada, where he became a member of the literary group Generation 27, which included such prominent writers as Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dali.

Garcia Lorca's first poems were published in 1918 in a literary magazine. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented poet and playwright. His first collection of poems, "The Wheel of Handcuffs" ("La Rueda de la Mariposa"), was published in 1919 and attracted the interest of literary critics and the public.

Andalusia, a region of Spain, had a huge influence on Garcia Lorca and his work. His poems reflect the beauty and magic of the area, as well as deep feelings for its culture and people. His collection of poems "Songs" ("Canciones") was published in 1927 and became one of the most famous works of Garcia Lorca.

In addition to poetry, Federico Garcia Lorca was also involved in theater and drama. His plays, such as "Bodas de Sangre" ("Bloody Weddings") and "Iacort" ("La Casa de Bernarda Alba"), received worldwide acclaim and influenced modern theatre. They often addressed themes of passion, death, and suppression of personality.
