Erik Larsen - Biography

Larsen was born on December 24, 1962 in Portland, Oregon, United States. His interest in comics and drawing came from an early age, and he began creating his own comics as a child. This was the beginning of his path to a future career as an artist.

After graduating from high school, Eric attended the University of Washington, where he studied art and graphic design. During this period, he continued to develop his style and technique of drawing comics. After graduating from university, he began sending his work to various comic book publishers, seeking to start his career in this field.

Erik Larsen's breakthrough came when he received an offer from Image Comics, a publishing house founded by a group of prominent comic book artists and writers. In 1992, he created the series of comics "Supermen" ("Savage Dragon"), which became a huge success and continues to be released to this day. This series follows the adventures of a superhero named Dragon and has received acclaim from critics and readers alike.

Eric is famous for his unique drawing style, which is dynamic and detailed. His work is always full of energy and action, which makes his comics fascinating for readers. He is also the screenwriter of many of his works and gives them unique plot twists and characters.

Erik Larsen not only creates comics, but is also actively involved in the development of the industry. He was a founding member of Image Comics, which became one of the leading comic book publishers in the world. His contributions to independent comics and to support artists' creative freedom were significant.
