Don DeLillo - Biography

DeLillo was born on November 20, 1936, in the Bronx, New York City. His childhood was spent in a working-class neighborhood in New York City, and he witnessed various socio-cultural changes and events that influenced his future work. From an early age, he showed interest in literature and began to write his first stories.

After graduating from high school, DeLillo attended Fordham University in the Bronx, where he studied communications and theater. He began working in advertising, but soon decided to devote himself to literature. His debut novel was "In the Hangar," published in 1971. Since then, he has created many works that have received critical and reader acclaim.
