Garrick (David Garrick) was born February 19, 1717 in Gerfordshire, England, in the family of a French immigrant. He became one of the most important figures in the history of English theater and had an indescribable influence on the stage art of his time.

David was educated at Westminster School and then attended the University of London. He began his career as an attorney, but soon realized that his real passion was theater.
