Claude Monet - Biography

In 1859, under the influence of his aunt, Monet entered the art school in Leverno, where he began his studies in painting. He met the artist Eugène Bodin, who became his mentor and inspiration. In 1860, Monet moved to Paris, where he began to study art and met future impressionists.

Claude became one of the leading artists of the impressionism movement. This art movement offered a new perspective on painting, focused on capturing the moment, light and color in nature. They created their pieces outdoors to accurately capture the effects of light and atmosphere.

One of the most famous series was the Lily Jug series. In these paintings, he investigated the effects of light and color on the surface of water with lilies. These paintings were stunning in beauty and became a symbol of his skill.

He also had a family, and his wife, Camille Donsier, and children often served as models for him. They lived in various places in France, including Giverny and Vety-sur-Mer, where Monet created his famous water lily garden.
