Biography of Stoker - Life and Work of the Famous Author of the Novel "Dracula"

Abraham Stoker, better known as Bram (Abraham Stoker, Bram Stoker), was born on November 8, 1847 in Clontuff, Ireland. As a child, he suffered a serious illness - paralysis, which left an invisible mark on him and became a source of inspiration for his future works. He attended Trinity College, Dublin, where he developed an interest in literature and theatre.

Bram began his career in theatre, working as an administrator and playwright in London. He became close friends with actor Sire Henry Irving and collaborated with him over the years. Irving became the inspiration for the character Count Dracula in a future novel.

Bram's most famous work was the novel Dracula, published in 1897. This vampire novel has become a classic of the horror genre and one of the most famous literary works in history. The history of Count Dracula, his thirst for blood and influence on people inspired many films, books and other arts.

The novel "Dracula" became the standard for literary works about vampires and had a significant impact on the development of the horror genre. Bram's writing became the base for many adaptations in film, theater, and television, creating a popular culture around the vampire myth.

Bram was married to Florence Balcombe, who was the former bride of Oscar Wilde. The couple had a son named after the author - Irving. The family lived in London, where Bram continued his theatrical and literary career.
