Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin was born on June 6 (old style May 26), 1799 in Moscow, into a noble family. His early education began at Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, where he distinguished himself as a talented poet. His first major work, Ruslan and Lyudmila, was published in 1820 and brought him fame.

Pushkin is considered the founder of the modern Russian literary language. He had a huge influence on subsequent generations of Russian writers due to his style, which combines clarity, accuracy and musicality. Pushkin created works in all genres of literature, including poetry, prose, drama and criticism.

His famous works, such as "Eugene Onegin," "Boris Godunov," "Captain's Daughter" and many poems, for example, "Prophet" and "Poet," continue to inspire readers with their depth and beauty. Pushkin is also known for his lyrical poems, which often reflect his own experiences and reflections.

Pushkin is often considered a symbol of Russian literary genius and cultural heritage. Despite his short life, his works continue to be relevant and revered. The poet died on February 10, 1837 from wounds received in a duel, which was a tragic and romantic end to his turbulent life. Alexander Pushkin is still considered the standard of Russian literature, and his work continues to be studied and admired around the world.
