After leaving school, Sebastian went to university in Chicago, where he studied comedy and acting. At university, he quickly distinguished himself as a talented comedian and actor, participating in various theatrical productions and comedy shows.

His film career began with small roles in films and television series, but his performances in comedy clubs and television shows brought him real popularity. He performed on shows of such famous comedians as Jay Leno and David Letterman, and became a resident of the popular television show "Comedy Central Presents."

Sebastian Maniscalco also took part in the creation and dubbing of various animated films and TV series. Some of his works are:

• "Volume" (2016): In this animated film, he voiced the character Manny, a sardonic frog.

• "Ice Age 4: Continental Drift" (2012): He voiced the character Shirik, a mammoth dwarf.
