Martin Short - Biography

Martin Short Martin Short was born on March 26, 1950 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. His talent for comedy manifested itself in early childhood, and after leaving school, he decided to devote his life to the art of acting. Martin attended McMaster University in Hamilton, where he earned a bachelor's degree in sociology, but his true calling was in the world of comedy.

After university, Martin Short went to Toronto, where he joined the Second City theater group, which specialized in improvised comedy. This experience was the impetus for his career, and he soon moved to the United States to try out for American television and film.

Some of Martin Short's more notable works include:

1. "Three Aminki" (1986) - in this comedy, he played the role of the immediate and slightly stupid guy Naity, for which he was nominated for a BAFTA award.

2. "Scary Movie" (2000) - in this popular parody, he played the role of a doctor, demonstrating his comic talent and sense of humor.

3. "Dad, Daughter and the Eternal Bell" (1991) - in this film, he played the role of a father who tries to settle relations with his daughter, creating a lot of funny situations.
