John Turturro - Biography

John Turturro John Mychel Turturro was born on February 28, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Born to immigrant parents from Italy, he had artistic ambitions from childhood. After graduation, he attended the University of the State of New York, where he studied theater and drama.

His film career began in the late 1970s and he has since appeared in numerous prominent films. Some of his more famous works include:

1. "Brother 2" (1984) - in this film, Turturro played the role of a street bully, which brought him recognition from critics and viewers.

2. "Barton Fink" (1991) - the director's masterpiece of the Coen brothers, in which he played the role of a mysterious and gloomy hotel.
