Chris Pine Chris Pine was born on August 26, 1980 in Los Angeles, California to actors Robert Pine and Gwynneth Palmer. From childhood, he was surrounded by the atmosphere of the film industry and showed interest in acting. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied English literature and stagecraft.
